EQUAL properties provide NDIS Participants with appropriate accommodation solutions allowing them Choice and Control over their lives, to live with dignity and respect, meeting Australia's commitment to the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

Supported accommodation

Supported independent living, medium term accommodation and short term accommodation across five purpose-built Melbourne sites, 129 beds, with 24-hour on-site support and allied health available on site. Built to unblock hospital acute and rehabilitation beds and to give younger people an alternative to nursing homes.

Simple and complex home modifications

Equisent Disability Services can perform all types of home modifications, such as widening of doorways and hallways for wheelchair access, install grabrails, handrails and hoists, install ramps (concrete and timber), assistive technology, disability compliant toilets and basins and any items identified in the Participant's plan, discussed with their Occupational Therapist, Plan Manager, and Support Co-ordinator.

SDA housing

Equisent in conjunction with its SDA Approved Provider partners, and our network of SIL collaboration partners, plan managers and support co-ordinators, designs to all SDA category types, Improved Liveability, Fully Accessible, Robust, and High Physical Support.

The Equisent SDA model is a true "asset-lite" off-balance sheet solution suitable for non-profit organisations, where the entirety of development and capital risk is held by Equisent, and the SDA and SIL provider operates the building once the keys are handed over, with all operating income paid by the NDIS.

Allied health under the same roof

Occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists and assistive technology assessment on site at Equal Living locations, through Equal Therapy. Residents see their clinicians downstairs rather than spending transport budget getting to them.
