Looking after your carer
Sometimes your full time carer needs a break as well. Whilst you recharge and enjoy new surroundings, your carer is also recharging. Have peace of mind that our rigorous reporting systems and clinical care systems allow handover of your needs, wishes, and daily requirements from your permanent carer to us for the duration of your stay.
Making It Accessible for All
We believe that quality care should be accessible to everyone. Our team can guide you through funding options, including NDIS support, to make your stay worry-free. We deal with the support co-ordinator, plan manager, hospital discharge planner and any other health professional required to approve the funds required for your stay.
For NDIS Participants, the cost of your stay at EQUAL Living can be funded through your NDIS plan. We navigate the NDIS pricing framework to ensure that your stay is both comfortable and compliant with NDIS guidelines. Our team can assist you in understanding how to use your NDIS funding for Short-Term Accommodation, making the process hassle-free. For other clients through the hospital system, we work with the referring organisation to manage all funding requirements.
Our pricing is structured to ensure transparency and ease of understanding. We offer various accommodation options, each priced according to the type of room and services included. You can choose from:

Tailored Packages for Individual Needs
Understanding that every guest has unique needs, we offer tailored support packages. These packages can include specialized care, high intensity assistance, extra recreational activities, and full access to our facilities. Funding from the NDIS may be available to cover these extra costs beyond the standard Short Term Accommodation allowance. Recreational and wellness activities may be funded under 'Capacity Building' or 'Improved Daily Living' categories, subject to the individual's plan specifics.
